I obviously don't have to tell you this, but even today, most ENBs don't go for photorealism. Really, the trick is in having perfect control over one's loadout's weathers-setting a cap and making sure the weathers favor that cap so the effort gets to shine through, so to speak, with some reliability. I found one screenshot from a WIP iteration, before I'd really ironed out contrast and adaptation to where I liked them. That was years ago and it's basically a different game at this point.) The thing that stops me is the near certainty that a 3080 is still not good enough to run the thing at 4K60+ENB.

(If I return to Skyrim, which I suppose is a bucket list item at this point, it's far too late to go back to my old loadout, even though I spent many thousands of hours making mods and getting everything as perfect as I can. I hunted around and everything is on a drive whose whereabouts I'm uncertain of. I got sick of having to pull my torch out just to find my room in an inn (who knows, maube people in Markarth really would live this way, but it seemed a bit much). But if this tweak is applied to all weather settings, then you end up with zero ambient light in any interiors, including houses, castles, etc. With ENB Light installed, this makes dungeons gorgeous and terrifying. I like having zero ambient light in dungeons, and operating solely based on point lighting. I also just stopped using pi-cho, even though I like its look, for the simple reason that it doesn’t have dedicated location-based weather settings for dungeons, as some other ENBs do.

I just rolled back to Cathedral Weathers the other day because I couldn’t find a mod (edit: ENB preset) for Azurite that I like. The best thing to do is figure out what you like, and then try to figure out what enb presets have those features AND work for whichever weather mod you use. I really love the LUTs that it comes with (from its predecessors like silent horizon and snapdragon). I like Pi-Cho and have used it for a while.
